For years photojournalist Aurelio José Barrera has created honest, story telling images of Latinos in Los Angeles and the surrounding counties.

Barrera speaks English and Spanish fluently and is currently the photo editor on a documentary photography project about children farmworkers.

While a staff photographer and photo editor at the Los Angeles Times, Barrera was a member of teams that won 4 Pulitzer Prizes.
